TechMate
International was founded on the premise that an opportunity
existed to improve the moving industry's productivity through
portable computerized systems to replace “pen and
paper” estimating. When the first TechMate products,
designed for salespeople and drivers, were introduced in
1989, bar codes were used as the basis for fast and accurate
inventorying. Thousands of these systems a re
currently still in use; a testament to the accuracy and
reliability of these systems and the team that supports
them.
Before long it became clear that the ability to produce
a computer generated Survey and Estimate/Order for Service
was having a dramatic impact upon the dynamics of the sales
process; resulting in higher closing ratios, a more professional
image and enhanced efficiencies.
After nearly 20 years serving the relocation industry, TechMate
now offers multiple products designed to streamline the
sales and operational functions. In addition, we deliver
our solutions across multiple operating platforms, including:
Desktops, PocketPC’s, TabletPC’s and Telxon’s.
Our products are unique in the industry in that they are
truly “internationalized”. Surveys and Inventories
can be printed in numerous languages (Danish, Dutch, English,
French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish) using either
Metric or English units of measure. Additionally, our products
are integrated with numerous vendors and software suppliers,
so that we can truly offer a comprehensive solution with
one-time entry.
TechMate is the moving industry's largest supplier of portable
productivity tools with thousands of clients around the
